Heather Moore, Executive Director: [email protected]
Heather Moore has worked in education for over a decade as a counselor, teacher, administrator and a board member of various educational institutions. She remembers her earliest job working as counselor at Enchanted Hills Camp for the Visually Impaired in Napa Valley most fondly. She has both a BA and an MA in history and is a Fulbright scholar. Educational pursuits are a favorite pastime of Heather’s and she is currently, slowly, obtaining a doctorate in Educational Leadership with a focus in special education. She has travelled extensively around the world researching, writing and learning. She once tried out blacksmithing as a hobby and she was not good at it, at all.
Heather has a fantastic husband and beautiful baby girl, Rosie, and they reside in Shelburne, Vermont near the museum and the farms. Heather loves to bake and once won a pie baking contest.
Heather had a wonderful first summer and looks forward to many years to come.
