Karen Davidson, Assistant Director for Camper Support
Karen Davidson currently resides in central Massachusetts. She has worked for Camp Thorpe for 4 years as a counselor, lifeguard, and currently an assistant director.
When she is not working at Camp Thorpe, she works in the Thrive program at Central Mass Collaborative in Worcester, MA. Thrive supports students in special education with a variety of social, emotional, vocational and life skills goals.
Karen received her undergraduate degree from Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT. She is currently pursing her master’s degree in Human Services with a concentration in Non-Profit Management. In her spare time, she loves kayaking, snowshoeing, and spending time with friends.
Amy Hill, Assistant Director for Programs and Staff
Amy Hill is from Newcastle in England. She has been with Camp Thorpe since 2013, as a counselor, a Program Counselor, and a Head Counselor. Amy has been to quite a few states int eh USA, but she says that “Vermont is truly a home away from home.”
When not at camp or work, she likes to travel and explore different places in the UK, US and other countries. Amy’s favorite things about camp are seeing the campers year after year- familiar faces and new ones, too!
