Dear Mom and Dad,
What a time I’ve had at Camp Thorpe! Together with my new friends, we’ve learned songs…learned games…swam in the pool and reveled in the warm sun. We walked a nature trail where we saw some of the prettiest flowers ever…The food here is pretty good and every couple nights there’s a funny skit performed by some fellow campers. These have been some of the funnest days I’ve ever had. Almost as fun as Christmas at Uncle Jessie’s. See You Soon, Love, Karen.
Serving the special needs population for more than 84 years has been a labor of love for us. Every year, we look forward to witnessing campers’ expressions of potential, personal pride and accomplishment.
We’re proud to share our online scrapbook; a collection of keepsake memories that have lasted a lifetime in the hearts of our campers and support staff. Each picture is worth a thousand words, but it won’t take you long to see the positively playful and wondrous times had by all.
